Jamie Ticgelaor grew up in Belleville, IL and graduated from Belleville East High School. She received her Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, IL. In 2001, she received her Master of Science (Physician Assistant Studies) from Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, IL.

Jamie is certified through the ACLS, PALS, BLS, ATLS Audited and NCCPA. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants.
Biography:
At the age of 18, Jamie was in a bus accident and received inadequate medical care. This experience inspired her to pursue a medical career. She wanted to provide good medical care to others especially in an emergency situation. Jamie is married with 5 sons, including two sets of twins. Her husband is an Associate Pastor at the Church of the Nazarene in Columbia, MO. Her hobbies include hiking, reading and chasing after five boys.
