Education:
Sara Revelle graduated as valedictorian from Pleasant Hill High School. In 1984, she received her BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). In 1992, she received her MSN (Master of Science in Nursing), and in 2004, she received her post master degree as a GNP (Geriatric Nurse Practitioner) from the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO.
Internship:
She has worked at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Residency:
University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, MO.
Fellowship:
In September of 1986, she began working at Callaway Community Hospital in Fulton, MO. Since 1992, she has been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the organization.
Certification:
She is a member of the American Nurses Association and the Missouri Nurses Association. She is certified by the ANCC as both a family & geriatric nurse practitioner. Her areas of practice interest are prevention and early intervention strategies, wellness promotion, as well as the provider of rural healthcare. In addition to full time clinical practice, she also is on the graduate faculty at the Sinclair School of Nursing at MU. She teaches advanced health assessment and two courses on primary care management of adults.
Biography:
Born and raised in Pleasant Hill, MO. Sara is married with two children. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time outdoors. Along with her family, they enjoy hiking, especially in the mountains. She also plays handbells in her church bell choir and sings in the church choir. She is a loyal Mizzou Tiger fan.
