Dr. Islam was raised in Fulton, MO. After graduating from the Fulton High School, he attended Westminster College. He received his medial degree from Saba University School of Medicine, Saba, Netherlands Antilles; Caribbean. He spent twenty months in the Netherlands for Basic Sciences and two years of clinical at Saint Luke’s Hospital and VA Medical Center, Kansas City, MO.

He completed his residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City through their Family Practice Residency Program
Fellowship:
Dr. Islam’s professional interests include Sports Medicine, Diabetes, Weight Management and EKG Stress Training.
Certification:
He is board certified through the American Association of Family Practice and a member of the American Medical Student Association.

He has returned to Fulton to practice Family Medicine at the Fulton Medical Clinic and is on staff at the Callaway Community Hospital.
He is board certified through the American Association of Family Practice and a member of the American Medical Student Association. Dr. Islam’s professional interests include Sports Medicine, Diabetes, Weight Management and EKG Stress Training. Dr. Islam is the physician for the Missouri School for the Deaf and sees patients there on a regular basis.
Dr. Islam is married with 3 children. He enjoys reading, playing soccer and basketball. Dr. Islam enjoys living in the areas and feels it is an honor to serve the people of this community.
