RN - OB
Responsibilities include care of ante partum and post partum patients as well as neonates and assumes administrative duties as assigned by OB Nurse Manager. Regularly scheduled shifts are either worked or on-call. If the OB nurse is on-call during a regularly scheduled shift she/he is expected to respond to the needs of the hospital and may be called to work in an area other than OB. Thirty-two hours of call per month, not including regularly scheduled shifts will be expected. These hours will be for OB unless needs arise in other areas. Nurses are given opportunities to sign up for these additional call hours. Additional on-call hours will be assigned if she/he does not sign up within a designated time frame.
*Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
*Current State of Missouri Registered Nurse Licensure
*One (1) or more years of recent OB experience
*Successful completion of Neonatal Resuscitation Certification
*Current BCLS and fetal monitoring certification
*Current ACLS certification
*Ability to work with minimal supervision
