An assortment of community education services enhance the health care network of Callaway Community Hospital. Programs are offered for various age groups.
The Homer Owen Callaway Community Health Care Association was founded for the purpose of promoting health care education within Callaway County. The scholarship program is made possible by funds bequeathed by Homer Owen. Mr. Owen was a resident of Callaway County and an active supporter of the healthcare field. Because of his concern for the citizens of this county, he bequeathed funds that will enable this association to award scholarships to those individuals pursuing a healthcare career.
The Homer Owen Callaway Community Healthcare Association Board members consist of the Hospital CEO, the Callaway County Commissioner, a Fulton School Board of Education Representative, the Hospital's Board of Trustees Chairperson, and the Hospital's Chief of Staff.
